So, yeah, I posted a picture I took on a field in Washington DC last night, so I thought I'd talk about that.
Washington is only a few hours away from my school. But we had horrendous traffic in both directions. We ended up spending ten hours on the bus that day. But it wasn't too bad. I knew a lot of people nearby, had my iPod, and also was sitting next to someone with one of the worst swearing problems I've ever seen, which provided loads of entertainment.
We saw museums, monuments, and the changing of the guard at Arlington National Cemetery. That was all fun, but the hilight of the trip was when we were travelling from place to place on the bus. We were passing the White House while the teacher was talking a little about the surrounding area.
"To your right, you can see the White House. Wave to the President, everyone. No, no, class, use /all/ your fingers." Almost everyone had stuck their hand out the window and flipped off the White House.
Freedom of speech can be very nice.

Katherine: You know, I'm curious about something. I know my reasons for wanting to keep Pam and Bobby apart. But what I really don't understand are yours.
J.R.: Well, I have a very special feeling for your sister. I hate her.
